Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe...
So let me share a secret with you...
Originally, my 31 days of reflection was only suppose to be specifically for social media. It was furthest from my mind to actually do 31 days of blogging.
In the matter of one month, I've done more blogging than what I planned to do for an entire year. Maybe God is having me play catch up for all the times I wanted to or planned on writing this year, but for the life of me couldn't get it together to do so.
This is usually the time period where I go into serious hibernation, detaching from everything and everyone known to man, including my baby Hey Mz. Lady. This is especially case with these frigid temperatures here in Chicago!
Nevertheless, I'm grateful for this time God is allowing me to share my story with you all. In all honesty, it's been extremely helpful within my personal journey to take this time to reflect on just how far I've come with God on my side.
And I'm well aware that sometimes I can come across somewhat preachy or maybe over zealous in my approach when talk about Him. But I can't help myself because that just how grateful I am to have God in my life.
There's no way I could have made it past this year or within my life as whole for that matter without Him. Not too mention, I would never have this platform had He not planted the seed within me to birth this baby out.
Everything I do, with regards to Hey Mz. Lady, I do for each and every one of you ladies.
I get up every morning asking God to speak to me and through me to give me a word that would speak to each of you personally.
I am grateful to be able to inspire, motivate, challenge and hopefully uplift you all to chase after the destiny God has for you. Each of our journeys are so uniquely designed that it is impossible for them to ever be duplicated. And when stepping into 2017, I speak over each of your lives that you live boldly in the assignment that God has called each of you towards!
This is the season to yes be grateful for the fact the year is coming to an end, but also be grateful for everything this year has brought and taught you as well.
Not everyone can say they survived 2016. Not everyone can say they’re leaving 2016 in their right mind. Not everyone knows what it took for you to make it to this point. But I say to you, if you are able to read this post and something is able to resonate with you within it then that alone is something to be grateful for...
The responsibility is yours to make the most of what God allows you to go through. Within it all, there's always something to be grateful, thankful or appreciative for. We only have exactly 9 days to thank 2016 for everything she has taught us and ultimately embrace what 2017 will bring us in the near future.
